PAWS HIKE LLC SERVICE AGREEMENT & TERMS (Compliant with the State of Ohio and Cuyahoga County Laws)

1. PARTIES AND SUBJECT This agreement defines the terms between Paws Hike LLC (the “Service Provider”) and the user (the “Client”) who utilizes pet care, dog walking, private jet/aircraft interior cleaning, upholstery/carpet washing, and other services. By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to these terms.

2. PET INFORMATION AND HEALTH DECLARATION

  • The Client declares that the pet is not aggressive, is free of contagious diseases, and is up to date on all vaccinations.
  • The Client must disclose any tendencies toward aggression, social issues with other animals, or chronic health conditions during booking. Paws Hike LLC cannot be held responsible for incidents arising from undisclosed conditions.

3. VACCINATION AND LOCAL LEGAL COMPLIANCE (Ohio Rev. Code § 955 & Cuyahoga County)

  • Vaccination Statement: Per Ohio State Law and Cuyahoga County regulations, the Client guarantees that the pet’s vaccinations, specifically Rabies, are current. Proof of vaccination must be provided upon request.
  • Health Status: The Client guarantees that the pet has not suffered from any contagious diseases in the last 30 days.

4. AIRCRAFT INTERIOR CLEANING AND HYGIENE TERMS

  • Service Scope: Paws Hike LLC specializes in deep cleaning aircraft interiors to remove pet hair, odors, and allergens. This service is focused on hygiene and detailing; it does not include technical maintenance.
  • Sensitive Surfaces: The Client is responsible for reporting pre-existing damage to high-value materials (leather, wood, cockpit instruments). We use only aviation-approved products.
  • Airport Protocols: All security and operational rules of the relevant airport authorities (e.g., Burke Lakefront, Hopkins) will be strictly followed during service.

5. MEDIA, PHOTO, AND VIDEO CONSENT

  • Content Creation: The Client grants permission for photos and videos to be taken during the service.
  • Privacy: Paws Hike LLC commits to blurring or hiding aircraft tail numbers, family photos, and personal identification in any shared content.

6. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Property Damage: Paws Hike LLC is not responsible for wear and tear or technical malfunctions that existed prior to cleaning.
  • General Risks: The Client acknowledges the inherent risks of pet care (walking, etc.). Except in cases of gross negligence, Paws Hike LLC and its staff are not liable for damages or injuries.

7. EMERGENCY MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION If the Client cannot be reached in an emergency, Paws Hike LLC is authorized to take the pet to the nearest emergency clinic. All costs will be covered by the Client.

8. CANCELLATION AND ADDITIONAL FEES

  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a 50% fee.
  • Aggression: If service cannot begin due to extreme pet aggression, a $25 service fee applies.
  • Partial Service: If service is stopped halfway, 50% of the total fee will be charged.
  • Waiting Fee: After a 10-minute grace period at drop-off or the vet, a fee of $0.50 per minute applies. (Includes live GPS and photo updates).
